The Board of Directors sadly announce the death of O.B. Walton on Tuedsay August 23, 2016. "OB" faithfully served the citizens of Jacksonville in many assignments including Rescue 6 from Station 6 on Florida Avenue. His son, Kevin, also served eventually retiring as a Captain. We extend to the family our deepest and sincere thanks for "OB's" service and our hopes that pleasant memories will bring a smile to your face in the days to come.

Funeral services for O.B. Walton will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the Mercy Fellowship Church, 711 Saint John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, 32225. Visitation will start at 10:00 am, and services will start at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Boulevard.
