The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that

Retired Engineer Edwin M. " Mickey" Stoops passed away 11:00PM on Tuesday July 02,2024.

As per his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no funeral service.


Mickey was hired September 13, 1963 and spent several years at the Navy Fuel Depot / Station 37.
