The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that

Retired JFRD Captain Neil Alford Nevin 84 passed away Monday August 06, 2018.

A visitation was held 10:00 AM Thursday August 09, 2018

Funeral service was held 11:00 AM Thursday August 09, 2018

Both at the Black Rock Baptist Church 96362 Black Rock Rd. Yulee, FL

Neil was a resident of Yulee, Florida at the time of passing.

After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School and attending Jacksonville University, Mr. Nevin enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served honorably in the 1950's. He worked for many years for Jacksonville Fire Department, retiring as a Captain.

Funeral services were at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Blackrock Baptist Church in Yulee, Florida with Pastor John Kasper and Pastor Frank Camarotti officiating. The family received friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church.

The family requests that donations be made in Mr. Nevin's memory to The Blackrock Baptist Church Building Fund.
