The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that

Retired JFRD Engineer George E. Leath (79) passed away 10/19/2024.

George spent many years at 44 and retired after 24 years service to the city from station 42.

As per his wishes, George will be cremated. The family has scheduled a celebration of life at 11:00 AM on Monday November 11, 2024 at
