The Board of Directors regret to inform you of JFRD Retired Firefighter Dean F. Hodge, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

Dean served the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department beginning 4/7/1986.

He served with the Jacksonville Beach Fire Department prior to his service with Jacksonville.

We extend our regrets and sympathies to Dean's family and friends on their loss.

Dean was born on March 5, 1945 and passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

Dean was a resident of Jefferson, Ohio at the time of his passing.

Dean is a veteran of the U. S. Navy U. S. Air Force and the Air National Guard. He served in both Vietnam and Desert Storm.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday March 14, 2017 at the Jefferson Home of Fleming Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory 49 W. Jefferson St. Jefferson with the Rev. Bruce Wyandt of First Covenant Church officiating. Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery. American Legion Post 103 will offer military honors. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home.
