The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that

Retired JFRD Rescue Lieutenant William "Bill" Harper passed away Tuesday July 26, 2022 after an extended illness.

Lieutenant Harper was assigned to Rescue 5 (now 35) in Oceanway at the time of his retirement in 1980.

Please join the Board in keeping the family of Bill Harper in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with one of the most trying experiences life has to offer, the death of a loved one.

A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 2-4 p.m., at the Frazier Funeral Home located at 8168 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida, 32221.

An additional time of viewing is scheduled for Monday, August 1, 2022, from 3-4 p.m., at the Old Plank Road Baptist Church located at 8946 Old Plank Road. The funeral service is scheduled to follow the viewing beginning at 4 p.m., also at the Old Plank Road Baptist Church.
