DYER Clyde E. Dyer, Jr. ,91, Live Oak , FL passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. The Jacksonville, FL native moved to Live Oak in 1977 from Jacksonville where he retired from the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department after 27 years of service as an Engineer at Station #10 on McDuff Ave. He was also a WWII Veteran while serving in the US Navy and a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak. Mr. Dyer is survived by his daughter: Joyce Johnson, Starke, FL; son: Michael Dyer, Tampa, FL; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 11th at Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Dees and Dr. Ben Bush officiating. There was a visitation held prior to the service at the church starting at 1:00 pm.
