The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that
Retired JFRD Division Chief William H. "Bill" Burns passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.
He was hired 05/28/1962 and retired with 35 years in 1997. He retired as a Division Chief from Headquarters.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday August 25, 2023 at
Jacksonville Firefighter Hall
