Retired JFRD Captain Stanley J. Brown (81) passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that

He spent a number of years at Station 33.

Captain Brown joined the Jacksonville Fire Department on June 14, 1968, and retired in January 2002, while assigned to Tower Ladder 9.

Since retirement he and his wife had been residing in middle Georgia.

A time of visitation is scheduled for 6:00-8:00 p.m Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at
