The officers and members of the Jacksonville Retired Firefighter Association are saddened to report that

Retired JFRD Engineer Norman C. Barber passed away Friday July 08, 2022.

He began his 28-year career with the Jacksonville Fire Department on February 2, 1968. He spent the majority of his career assigned to Fire Station 10. At the time of his retirement on May 18, 1996, he was assigned to Engine 23.

Please join us in keeping Engineer Barber's daughter and son and other family members and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this difficult time.

A time of fellowship and visitation will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday July 14, 2022. Funeral service will begin at Noon. Interment immediately following at the on site cemetery.
