30 new recruits are supposed to start 1-21-14. If we are approved for the SAFER grant, another 67 will be hired shortly after.

-Station 62 Grand Opening is 1-30-14 @ 10:30. The plan is for the station to open 1-2 weeks prior.

-To help with the ISO rating, 7 "hose tenders" are planned to be put in service in 6-7 months. These units will be manned with an engineer and carry 6000’ of hose. They are looking into converting old rescue units.

-The 6 month clock for the Lt test started 12-6-13. The clock for the Eng. test is assumed to start 1-3-14.
