Jacksonville International Airport

The Jacksonville Aviation Authority bought a 13-foot-tall sculpture Hoy es Hoy, the creation of Mexican artist Javier Marin last year for $150,000. It bears a striking resemblance to Medusa of Greek Mythology.
The $450,000 grotto created at the entrance to the airport, where the flag display used to be, includes two granite walls with water cascading over them and lights that illuminate the sculpture at night.
Vandals poured soap into the fountain of the $600,000.00 display this morning creating a winter like effect.
